Shimmery Dust (Ancestor/Descendant)

Drink the blood of your ancestors
while you sift ashes through bones;
collect their wisdom
in pulpous marrow.

Cells of virgin blood
infuse you with all the stories
of joys and regrets,
deaths and rebirths.

wants to be.
