In-person training:
-Working with us for a year and a day (minimum)
-No assumption that working with us for a year and a day will end in an agreement to embark on the path of initiation, though an agreement may occur, it is not a guarantee
-A minimum of one face-to-face visit with us after the initial meet-and-greet and subsequent Skype or in-person meetings as needed
-The year and a day time period is for as to get to know each well, at which point we or you may decide to walk away from the training, no hard feelings on either side.
The expectation en ré classes/workshops are:
1) you would attend one in-person workshop
2) you would take one online class as a paying student
3) then one online class as a work study student in which you would not pay the fee
4) you would attend some open rituals hosted by Bone and Briar (we will be creating public rituals in the year 2015)
We feel strongly about how we do this Work and have carefully considered the parameters we have for it. We have looked at it from all the angles pertinent to us in regards to commitments to ourselves, to our tradition, to our community, and to our Gods. And, we *deeply* love the work that we do.

1) you are free to attend as you are able in person and this could be combined with the face-to-face visit (the fee for the workshop would be paid by you)
2) you would take one online class as a paying student
3) then one online class as a work study student in which you would not pay the fee
4) you would attend some open rituals hosted by Bone and Briar (we will be creating public rituals in the year 2015)
As you can see there is a little bit of expense on your side with the traveling for a face-to-face visit and the cost of one online class.
Again, no expectation of initiation from the training. We are not saying, “No, you cannot receive initiation at some point after that,” however that is a separate step entirely and is not automatic with our training. We state this clearly because we have been told that some distance training carries a guarantee of initiation. Ours does not offer such a guarantee. Another thing we do not do – people who we accept for initiation are not charged any fees associated with the work of the *actual initiation process*. You are of course welcome to continue to attend workshops and online classes as a paying student, but it is not required as part of initiation.
